A fish is a great pet to have for a child of any age and helps to teach a child to be responsible for another living creature. Disney's Little Mermaid Aquarium by Tetra- CLICK HERE!

Tetra has recently released two versions of the Disney's Aquariums that come almost complete with everything you need.

Fish are great pets for children as long as there is the proper adult supervision. This rings true for all types of pets (not only fish). We bought a Disney aquarium for my 10 year old son this past summer for his birthday and it has been nothing but a completely positive experience.
