Let's Take a Walk -- Safely- CLICK HERE!

There are so many reasons to walk your dog. The main reason is that it will strengthen the bond between you and your pet. My dogs can hardly contain themselves when they see the leash coming out. People say it is easier to exercise with a buddy. Well, I have 2 buddies who go with me every evening. They listen to me and don't judge me.

Of course, it is healthy for both you and your pet to take regular walks. Working helps control weight and maintain muscles. Even if your pet plays outside all day in your yard, he will benefit from a regular walk. As pets age, their metabolism slows down and they needs walks to keep their weight down and to keep them agile.

If you walk at night, you must make your pet safe. Ethical Dog has a great new product line - the Spotbrites Glo-Brite LED Safety Dog Collar and Leash. The is available in a collar or leash and each have super bright, long lasting LED lights that flashes bright red, white and blue lights. The lights are visible up to 1/2 mile away. What a great way to warn passing motorists that youand pet are there. Use both the leash and collar for added safety.

Another product that I like is the Dog Mesh Reflective Harness Vest. This is a reflective harness that looks like a vest. The reflective harness comes with a matching 5 ft. reflective lead. It is a cute, but more importantly effective product.

Oh yeah, since I have 2 dogs, one 15 pounds and one 55 pounds, I use the Double-Dog Coupler.
It is perfect to walk the 2 same size or 2 different size dogs (like I do). You use your existing leash and just hook it onto the coupler. This product will keep 2 dogs safer by keeping them closer to you. I have seen my neighbors struggle with 2 leashes and dogs going in every direction (entertaining, but not safe).
Remember, your dogs are more than just your pets, they are a part of your family.KEEP THEM SAFE!
