Tetra has recently released two versions of the Disney's Aquariums that come almost complete with everything you need. Fish are great pets for children as long as there is the proper adult supervision. This rings true for all types of pets (not only fish). We bought a Disney aquarium for my 10 year old son this past summer for his birthday and it has been nothing but a completely positive experience. The aquarium can be a small piece of nature in your home that provides opportunities for learning in biology, chemistry, math and ethics. It can also teach responsibility. The fun Disney aquariums -- 1.5 gal Disney's Little Mermaid Aquarium by Tetra or the Disney's Finding Nemo Aquarium by Tetra comes complete with everything you need to keep your fish happy. In general, girl's like the Little Mermaid version, and my son recieved the Finding Nemo version, which he loved. Your children will adore the cute and fun aquariums that feature either Nemo or Little Mermaid with her friend Sebastian. This aquarium kits are great starters because they include almost everything you need:
